The Hand pillow is a play on the brand namesake, Sohn. Sohn (손) literally translates to "hand" in Korean. The Hand pillow blurs the line between soft sculpture and home good, utilizing intricate glove seaming to lend the pillow its lifelike shape. 

This antique quilt satin quilt was chosen for its vibrant colors and unusual satin patchwork. The quilt evokes classic Americana - rayon and acetate scraps that are reminiscent of prom dresses and satin western shirts. At the same time, the bright colors and silky fabrics can also look very Korean; the dominant shades of blue, red, yellow, and pink bring to mind hanboks and Korean textiles. Hand-embroidered herringbone stitches and quilter's knots bring rich texture to this pillow.
