The Foot pillow is a playful take on the foot as a design object. The Foot pillow utilizes the intricate gusset detailing from the Hand pillow to create lifelike toes and a sculptural shape. The Foot pillow is reversible - it can be both a left foot or right foot depending on the way it is oriented. The wedge shape is also a practical supporting shape for seating areas, making it both a whimsical home good as well as functional pillow.
This Foot was made from a 1970s patchwork quilt pieced from corduroys of varying wales and weights. The haphazard geometry and unexpected color combinations give the patchwork a real handmade feel and sense of craft. The layers are affixed together with sparing use of quilter's knots in a chunky yarn.
Quilt has minor damages and stains due to age, sold as is.
